Important Safety Notice: New electrical safety regulations regarding roof void access

From January 1, 2025, changes to Queensland Electrical Safety Regulations require new safety measures when accessing roof voids or ceiling spaces—including for pest control services.

To ensure compliance and safety, mains power must be switched off at the meter box before our technicians enter these areas.

What You Need to Know:

– Our technician will discuss this with you upon arrival and allow you time to prepare.

– Power will typically be off for no more than 20 minutes.

– The technician will inform you when it is sage to turn the power back on.

Preparing for Power Isolation:

Before power is switched off, please ensure that any essential devices are safely shut down, including:

– Computers, gaming consoles, televisions, and audio equipment

– Medical devices that can be safely unplugged

If uninterrupted power is required for medical or other critical reasons—or if you choose not to turn off the power—our technician will proceed with the service without accessing the roof void/ceiling space.
