A great suburb for families, the parks are well kept, fantastic walks or bike rides, great cafs. Central to all shopping centres and venues, Paradise Point is your gateway to a better suburban life.
Paradise Point is a suburb on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. At the 2006 Census, Paradise Point had a population of 19,139. After development of Ephraim Island and Sovereign Islands, by 2011 the census for Paradise Point neighbourhood alone was 5,930.
Take a walk down the road along the beach, head on over the Sovereign Island bridge for a cup of coffee, or maybe brunch on weekends. On hot days, the people of Paradise Point often ride bikes to the netted swimming enclosure, or simply take a plunge at their own pool.
The suburb lies on the Gold Coast Broadwater with direct access to the Coomera River. The area is protected by South Stradbroke Island which lies off the coast. With access to two major water ways, several boat ramps and marinas have been built. Two developments, built out into the local waters, are only accessible from Paradise Point. Sovereign Islands is a canal-style development at Northern point off Paradise Point, accessible by bridge and road named the Sovereign Mile. Ephraim Island is situated at the southern end, a secure Island development joined to Paradise Point by bridge via Falkinder Avenue. Paradise Point Village shops on the esplanade include a post office, a news agent, medical clinic and food outlets and eateries. Jabiru Island in the west, remain undeveloped in Phil Hill Environmental Park.
Paradise Point is a fairly upmarket suburb, with many properties worth millions of dollars. A 2014 property survey revealed King Charles Drive as having the fourth highest number of million-dollar houses in Queensland.

When you think you may have a Termite problem who do you call? Good question and a dilemma I’ve had for some time! Several weeks ago when I noticed some bad crack appearing in my house, I got very scared….I had read somewhere that’s often a sign of Termite activity. So I sprang into action! Where to start I wasn’t sure? Should I get a Pest Inspection just to check for Termites, or a full Building and Pest to find out what was causing the cracking? I knew from having purchased the house that a Building and Pest Inspection can get rather costly. But I knew I needed to start somewhere? I looked in the local paper and also on the Internet. Rang several firms that either didn’t get back to me or left confusing voice mail messages that didn’t give me much to go on…(all I wanted was a quote to compare and to find out what I would get for my money?) Then I happened across Complete Termite Solutions Website! I rang and explained my concerns to Talon who explained clearly to me what my options were. As Complete Termite Solutions are not only Licensed Pest Inspectors but also Builders, for a reasonable fee (a lot less than a Building and Pest Inspection I might add), Daniel would come out and tae a look at my structural damage, whilst checking for moisture and any signs of Termite invasion both in and around my property. Daniel arrived as arranged and carried out a thorough inspection, (the cost of which it was explained to me would be deducted from the cost of the Exterra Interception and Baiting System should I chose to get one installed)?! Daniel’s friendly and informative disposition quickly laid my fears to rest, especially as it appears my internal wall cracking is due to the effect of a recent really dry season and having clay soil! Thank goodness Termites haven’t invaded my home yet, but as there is clear evidence that they have been attacking the surrounding wood structures on the property, I didn’t wish to play ‘Russian Roulette’ any longer with my biggest asset, so I decided to get the Baiting System installed. That was done promptly the week before Christmas! I really like the concept of the Exterra System because of it’s nontoxic nature compared to the older highly toxic Chemical Barrier Systems. I now have 25 baits installed discreetly around the perimeter of my home. There was a slight hiccup installing the system…digging one of the holes accidentally fractured a water pipe that ran from my water tank! ( I had no idea it was only just below the surface)? No drama to Daniel, he had a plumber on the premises to fix it within 30mins and it was fixed at no expense to me. I even got given a bottle of wine when the job was finished by way of apology! I’m glad I contacted Complete Termite Solutions as I now have peace of mind.
